Sir David Akers-Jones, KBE, CMG, GBM, JP
Sir David Akers-Jones, KBE, GBM, CMG, Hon. RICS, JP(A, E), has been an influential figure in Hong Kong politics for many years. He has had an illustrious public sector career spanning over five decades, and served as Chief Secretary and briefly Acting Governor for Hong Kong. He was also awarded the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s highest award, the Grand Bauhinia Medal, in 2002. Sir David has and continue to serve on the Board of Directors of a number of well-known corporations and is a member of numerous charitable organizations. He shares our love for Hong Kong and is a passionate advocate for peace. He is presently the Honorary President for Peace International Foundation.
